Are you looking to digitize your old movies, photos, or other cherished memories? Our team is here to help you through every step of the process. In this blog post, we'll walk you through our five easy steps to preserve your priceless memories for years to come.

Step 1: Deliver Your Items to Us

Most of our clients (90% to be exact) choose to drop off their item at our Southfield location for digitization.ย  To do so, weโ€™ll have to schedule a โ€œdrop offโ€ appointment. This appointment is designed to allow you to safely and securely provide us with your items so that we can provide an estimate for digitizing them. During the appointment, you'll have the chance to meet our friendly staff, ask any questions you might have, and make custom requests if necessary.ย 

If you prefer, we also offer free pickup service for orders over $500 in the Metro Detroit area, which includes Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. For orders under $500, a $50 service fee applies. If you are located outside of the Metro Detroit area, please contact us by phone or email to discuss pickup options. Extra fees may apply..

For those who prefer to mail their items, we kindly request youย  contact us first by email or phone before shipping anything. We have a separate process and policy for mail-in orders.

Step 2: Confirm the Final Price

After we receive your items, we'll carefully review them and provide you with a final quote within 2-3 business days.

Step 3: Let the Digitization Begin

Once you approve our quote, we'll get to work digitizing your precious memories. Typically, the process takes a few weeks to complete. However, for orders containing more than 100 movies or 4,000 pictures, additional time may be required. We'll inform you of any potential delays when we send the quote. Expedited service may be available.

Step 4: Payment and Pickup

When your items have been digitized, we'll send you an invoice along with a free preview link hosted on our Google Drive. You can choose to pay the invoice online using a credit or debit card, or you may pay in-person with cash or check. Once we receive your payment, youโ€™ll can schedule your pickup appointment. At that appointment, we'll return your original items and provide you with the digitized copies to cherish forever.
