Preview Before You Pay

  • We will provide you with a preview link at the conclusion of the project where you can preview your movies and photos prior to paying the final invoice
  • The preview link also gives you an opportunity to share the project with your family

Only archival quality for your photos

  • Photos, slides, and negatives are manually cleaned with an air pump (not compressed air) and special cloths
  • We use an archival-grade 50.6 megapixel camera (Canon EOS 5DSR) with a special 100mm lens and archival grade Epson 12000XL graphic arts scanners
  • We've spent roughly $15,000 on this configuration
  • We can scan nearly any format (prints, slides, negatives, albums, scrapbooks) with this setup

What may affect your final quote:

  • You have given us less photos than you thought (very common, e.g. you counted 150 photos but there were only 149)
  • If we notice any duplicates we will not scan them

🎬 Service add-ons:

We highly recommend digitizing and reviewing your photos first, before ordering extra enhancements (i.e. dust removal, red eye). It is more economical to have us enhance certain special photos than the whole collection.

  • Expedited service (talk to us for a quote, varies on number of items and timeframe, may not always be available)
  • Delivery of digital copies as TIFF files
  • AI-based resolution upscale (ex: we can blow up small 2x2 photos, talk to us for a quote)
  • Dust, nick, and scratch reduction or removal (most dust problems are cured by our innovative camera scanning system; nicks and scratches can be cured by manual photoshop work or through inexpensive AI options, which have pros and cons (talk to us for a quote))
  • Red eye removal (talk to us for a quote)
  • Color adjustment (our innovative camera scanning system produces vibrant colors, but you may have your own tastes and preferences on the look and feel of your photos, talk to us for a quote)
  • Advanced foldering beyond subfolders...(hourly rate to be quoted)
  • Creating a photo hub on Apple Photos, Google Photos, Google Drive, Mylio, or Forever.com (talk to us for a quote)
  • Editing metadata so your digital copies are searchable in your photo program such as Apple Photos, Google Photos, or Mylio
    (location, date, tags, captions, persons...talk to us for a quote)

The Process:

  • Request a Quote

    Tell us about your project! Use the ‘Get Quote’ form to get the process going. We can give you a quote and answer any of your questions.

  • Securely drop off your items

    We’re local. We’re flexible. Drop off your items at our Southfield location. You may also mail them or schedule a pickup.

  • Approve final quote

    Once we have your items, we will send you a final quote. You approve. We get to work. You will be invoiced once the project is completed. You will pay the invoice and then pick up your originals and digital copies.

Jonathan Fouch and Michele Anderson

We're a family business. Me and my partner Michele handle every project. We focus on providing you with great service, craftsmen-like quality, and the security of knowing who is handling your items and where they are being stored.

We answer all of your questions. If there are specific wishes or requests, we handle that as well.

We use the best equipment and best practices to give you the best possible scan.  We find that the little things - like hand cleaning every photo - make a big difference.

Most of our clients choose to drop off their items at our Southfield office, where they hand them off directly to Michele or myself.

We accept in-person appointments at our office, but please call ahead of time as we frequently travel throughout the Metro Detroit area.
